As a Junior Local Engineering Procurement Engineer/Specialist, you will join the Engineering team on Ensuring that the engineering Requirements will be fulfilled and smooth sourcing activities for the new items.
What you will do
Conducting a market survey periodically to get the best prices and evaluate the performance of suppliers.Updating & maintaining a list of approved suppliers and identifying new suppliers.Negotiate with suppliers to get the best package ensuring a short lead time.Receiving purchase Requisitions from different functions.Prepare quotations from suppliers for multi-source purposes.Managing delivery orders until the delivery is complete.Properly record suppliers’ databases and purchase order data on the system.Ensure that purchase orders are provided in the right place, in the required quantity, in the right quality, and on time. YOU HAVE:
Experience in Purchasing & Supply chain. Excellent Negotiation Skills and Sourcing Strategies.Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and priorities work.Strong organizational and planning skills.Excellent verbal communication skills and good writing skills, with the ability to adapt to various situations and audiences as needed.Experience using EPR Systems (SAP Is Preferred)Knowledge about the Procurement Cycle.YOU MUST:
Have 1-2 years of experience in procurement.Hold a bachelor’s degree preferable in mechanical engineering or any relevant field. Experience with sheet metal work.Demonstrate ownership and have a strong sense of integrity in your work.Thrive in dynamic fast-pace and high-pressure situations.
