Dispatcher

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Dispatcher to join our team in Safwa, Saudi Arabia. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and efficient operations. You will work closely with drivers, logistics personnel, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Receive and process orders, ensuring accurate and complete information.
2. Schedule and assign drivers for delivery orders based on availability, location, and load requirements.
3. Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods.
4. Monitor and track the progress of deliveries, resolving any issues or delays that arise.
5. Communicate with customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any concerns or issues.
6. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery and any relevant documentation.
7. Coordinate with logistics personnel to optimize routes and maximize efficiency.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local transportation regulations.
9. Monitor and maintain vehicle fleet, including scheduling maintenance and repairs.
10. Provide support and assistance to drivers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Prior experience working as a Dispatcher or in a similar logistics role.
2. Strong knowledge of local transportation regulations and best practices.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
6. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
7. Proficient in using computer systems and software for tracking and managing deliveries.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Flexible schedule and willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed.
10. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
