Job Description

This role is to support GSEC management in planning different activities and assure proper synchronization to achieve targets.

Responsible for project timescale estimation and ensure that the outlined deadlines are met by working closely and mainly with project management & procurement teams to ensure a project runs on schedule and that material supplies are sufficient.

Responsible for cost control for the running projects, coordinating with finance to ensure proper invoice and cash flow plan and with procurement to ensure the proper procurement plan for all projects according to the project schedule & approved budgets.

  • Planning for bidding activities to assure all inputs prepared and provided by different parties as per the bidding process.
  • Tracking targets for activities based on each phase of a project plan and ensure it meets client's specifications.
  • Understand project specifications and develop time schedules and budgets that meet them.
  • Overlooking on overall master schedule integrating revenues / cash plan / forecast and actual figures.
  • Preparing projects budgets according to the approved P&L and follow up the budgeted cost items.
  • Assure to stay within the project each item cost budget and discuss each case with the relevant PM before action.
  • Coordinate with procurement team to have one master procurement plan synchronized with targets and report progress to GSEC management team.
  • Make comparisons between planned progress and actual progress and report any differences the project managers
  • Report deviations recognized on the budget, prepare recovery plans and seeking management approval.
  • Coordinate a master consolidated projects CM plan synchronized with projects schedules and report progress to management team concerned.
  • Analyze technical drawings and providing material and cost estimates.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budgets.
  • Any other assigned management reporting required by management team.
  • Identify gaps in key performance areas and plan activities to increase overall project efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and deliver schedules to facilitate project execution strategy.
  • Overlooking on overall master schedule integrating revenues plan / forecast and actual figures.
  • Preparing projects budgets according to the approved P&L and follow up the budgeted cost items.
  • Assure to stay within the project each item cost budget and discuss each case with the relevant PM before action.
  • Report deviations recognized on the budget, prepare recovery plans and seeking management approval.
  • Follow up cost control processing to optimize the cash out and report budget issues.
  • Updating the budget, margin & invoices and comparing them with the base line.
  • Coordinate a master consolidated projects CM plan synchronized with projects schedules and report progress to management team concerned.
