Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Reformer Pilates Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and fitness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate clients of all fitness levels. As a Reformer Pilates Instructor, you will lead group classes and provide personalized instruction to clients, helping them achieve their fitness goals in a safe and effective manner.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct group Reformer Pilates classes, ensuring that each session is engaging, challenging, and safe for participants.
- Provide individualized instruction and modifications to accommodate clients with varying fitness levels, abilities, and any physical limitations or injuries.
- Demonstrate proper technique and form for each exercise, ensuring that clients understand and execute movements correctly to prevent injury and maximize results.
- Create dynamic and effective workout routines that target specific muscle groups, improve flexibility, and enhance overall physical fitness.
- Motivate and inspire clients to reach their fitness goals by providing encouragement, feedback, and support throughout each session.
- Maintain a clean and organized studio environment, including the proper setup and maintenance of Reformer equipment.
- Uphold the studio's policies and procedures, including scheduling, client registration, and payment processing.
- Foster a positive and inclusive studio culture that promotes health, wellness, and community among clients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience teaching Reformer Pilates classes preferred.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and biomechanics, with the ability to modify exercises for individual needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively instruct and motivate clients of all ages and fitness levels.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their wellness goals.
Work Conditions:
- This position typically involves working in a studio environment, leading group classes and providing individualized instruction to clients.
- Flexible hours may be required, including mornings and evenings, to accommodate class schedules and client availability.
- Physical requirements include the ability to demonstrate exercises, move and adjust Reformer equipment, and provide hands-on assistance to clients as needed.
