BIM Engineer (Arch / Struct / MEP) 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create, and maintain detailed BIM models, incorporating architectural, structural, MEP.
• Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing), and other relevant project data.
• Utilize BIM models to generate construction documents, such as drawings, schedules, and visualizations.
• Support design an construction activities.
• Developing BIM protocols and maintaining BIM documentation.
• Collaborate with design teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate translation of project requirements into BIM models.
• Coordinate and integrate BIM models from various disciplines, resolving conflicts and maintaining model integrity.
• Providing technical support and collaborating with the design team on model development.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to ensure BIM models accurately represent design intent.
• Work with project teams to develop BIM workflows and processes.
• Coordinating BIM models among multiple design disciplines to ensure compatibility and accuracy.
• Provide training and support team members and other stakeholders in the use of BIM software and methodology.
• Establishing and enforcing BIM standards and procedures within the organization.
• Performing clash detection and resolution in BIM models to avoid design and construction issues.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of BIM strategic planning.
• Generating and managing digital data and reports from BIM models.
• Provide technical support for BIM software.
• Develop and review the project BIM strategy, requirements, and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
• Ensuring coordination of BIM activities (i.e., coordinate systems, standard templates, clash management, design review, etc.,) are shared and complied with the design team.
• Supports design and construction reviews, coordination and manages issue/action logs.
• Ensures the project meets the information requirements, and industry-wide standards (i.e. ISO19650).
• Developing/Enhancing, communicating, and institutionalizing standardized BIM workflows to the project stakeholders (e.g., Design, Construction, and Project Management).
• Conducts regular Assessments to review the implementation of the BEP and compliance to the project execution strategy.
• Capture Lessons Learned, and seek opportunities for improvement.
• Create standard processes for the preparation of model-based design quantity take-offs,
• Enables construction quantity reporting processes and forecasting.
